Even tho it was a sunday, it was basically a snow day, since the lovely blizzard today prevented me from really leaving the house. And even if I did try to go somewhere, probably nothing was open. I did take a couple of ventures out to take pictures, but it was honestly snowing too hard to make this all that altogether successful! The first go-round it was blowing in my face way too much to get a good photo. All I accomplished, really, was to lose my camera case, which sucks. :( The second time I had better luck, but I had to do a rush job. It was just too cold to be working with the camera - I started feeling like I might actually get frostbite. But I did take a few photos, and will have to post them later.

Otherwise, I spent some time in the house (when I wasn't cleaning) making a hat, and making a little set for photos. The hat got used in the snow photos so that'll make its debut later. (It's really hard to make a good photo for a Pinky - their heads are huge and awkward to work with! I wasn't entirely satisfied with my results. Maybe I'll try again another time...) I used the set to take some valentine's photos, and I will post them on valentine's day. In the meantime, here is a preview. I found some cool pictures in a magazine, and I did sort of a gallery wall. I really wanted to make a window with curtains - I even have some nice ribbon ready for the curtains - but I need a good picture to use for the window, and I couldn't find anything I liked in the magazines I had at home. I'll keep looking tho, I'm sure I'll turn something up. The pictures I hung up gallery style, but I guess they might've ended up a little too high to fit into any close-ups. This picture tho shows the whole "room".

I guess the pictures ended up looking a little bit crooked, which is annoying. If you look at the background, you can see that they're actually hung on there relatively straight, I think it's just the angle of the photo that makes them look crooked... Still, something else to beware of, I guess, in the future. I could redo it now, but I need to do some more cleaning, so it'll have to suffice!
