Paul's Garden

Somewhere out near where I work is a person who keeps a really elaborate garden. It's actually a little crazy, but I think that's what makes it great. My favorite touch is that they put scarves on all of their statues during the winter!! Now that it's finally spring, I'm excited to see what they get up to this year. I am not sure who owns this garden, but there's a rock out front that has "Paul's Garden" in front of it, so that's what I usually call the place.

So here's my 5A Kokoro (still unnamed, I think... unless I have forgotten... poor thing!) checking the place out. She doesn't get a lot of photo time somehow, even tho I'm fond of her red ribbon...

Pink Flowers, Part 2: Dogwoods

oops! somehow I almost forgot to post part 2!!

I'm so in love with these pink trees!! I am 97% sure they are dogwoods, and I'm maybe 65% sure they are not usually this pink... I've been sad it's been so rainy, because it would be nice to have a good day for photoing them (it's wetter than a drowning rat around here...) but I suspect that maybe the heavy rainfall is responsible for making the trees pinker than usual? Either that or something else has prevented me from noticing how very many pink trees are around here!





These two shots are just to show how pretty the trees are!

Pom Tea

A little bit random, and bordering on advertising-esque, but I really liked the way they packaged this new tea. And I needed an excuse to photo my new blue-eyed Suu. So here you have it.

Blue-eyed Suu, by the way, has been named Leigh. Pronounced Lee, even if that's not really how it's pronounced!

Flowers

Just a couple of pictures of Mai playing in the flowers. It was an absolutely beautiful weekend - great for taking photos!! I will have some others I took over the weekend to post soon...
