Non-Pinky Doll Post

This is not a Pinky, and it's not an old photo that I need to catch up with, but I'm not holding to strict chronological order OR strict topic rules! :)

Target has these cute little dolls in their "global marketplace". The global marketplace is what they stick in their seasonal section when there are no holidays to capitalize on. There's actually some pretty nice stuff, although some of it is unusually expensive for Target. A little bit it reminds me of Pier One Imports. But anyway, in that section they have little Japanese Kokeshi dolls. There are at least 3 models, but so far I only have this one. They are a little taller than a Pinky, but not much. And they are only $4! I'm going to buy the others if I can find them...

This Santa was hanging out at a rest station on the highway. It was one of my more embarrassing photos to try to take, because there were so many people around. But I was terribly amused by the idea of Pinky Elves, and somehow I couldn't resist...

Another holiday photo I didn't get to post!

I also have reconfigured my blog template so it can accommodate the full size photos I am posting directly from flickr. Blogger has gone through a bunch of upgrades recently, and I had to reset a number of things. I'm happier with this system tho because I'm much better about posting my photos to flickr then I am about posting them anywhere else. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I like the new color scheme...
(I also must figure out how to post multiple photos into the same entry, if that's even possible...?)

I know I've missed Christmas by a mile, but I hope you all had a happy holiday season!

I've been very bad about posting to my poor little blog for the past couple of months and I have a ton of photos I need to catch up. I'm going to try to post them all over the next couple of days so that I can start off my new year with my blog reset to zero, so to speak!
